Summary of Key Teaching Responsibilities:

  • Development of undergraduate level courses at West Virginia University for a class of 15 to 35 students, both lecture and studio environment, subjects: architecture / landscape architecture theory and history, design/graphic design principles, 2D and 3D design software application, freehand drawing.

  • Design and preparation course curriculum, course calendar, lesson plans, and grading schemes.

  • Preparation midterms, final exams, weekly quizzes, homework assignments.

  • Setting up the online homework system, synchronizing deadlines with the rest of the course.

  • Selection of audio and visual materials and supplement readings to be used in class.

  • Grading quizzes, homeworks, exams, 4 office hours a week plus 1 by appointment.

  • Correspondence and assistance to other department lecturers in design studio environment, providing them feedback on how students are doing, where they are strong or lacking.

  • Organization, design, and arrangement of students’ final work exhibitions.
