Summary of Key Teaching Responsibilities:
Development of undergraduate level courses at West Virginia University for a class of 15 to 35 students, both lecture and studio environment, subjects: architecture / landscape architecture theory and history, design/graphic design principles, 2D and 3D design software application, freehand drawing.
Design and preparation course curriculum, course calendar, lesson plans, and grading schemes.
Preparation midterms, final exams, weekly quizzes, homework assignments.
Setting up the online homework system, synchronizing deadlines with the rest of the course.
Selection of audio and visual materials and supplement readings to be used in class.
Grading quizzes, homeworks, exams, 4 office hours a week plus 1 by appointment.
Correspondence and assistance to other department lecturers in design studio environment, providing them feedback on how students are doing, where they are strong or lacking.
Organization, design, and arrangement of students’ final work exhibitions.
